Banshee Viento and Amp Hardtails |
BANSHEE VIENTO - Although its classified as an all mountain bike because of its ability to take abuse, at a light build of 23lbs it will still get you to the top faster then other brands lighter XC race bikes - why?... well the internal ribbed seat and chainstays are virtually flex proof so all your energy drives the rear tire forward. BANSHEE AMP - New School geometry for new school riders! The frame feels perfectly at home high in the air at your local jump spot, and can accelerate out of the gate faster than any other if you feel like racing some 4X!

Andy's New Banshee RUNE- bike review |
| | | First off, let me tell you where I come from in terms of riding bikes. I’ve been riding mountain bikes since 1994 and have always been a keen XC only rider. That all changed when I decided that racing is not what pushed my buttons anymore and all I wanted out of my rides were weekend casual trail rides. As I stepped into the world of casual trail riding I found myself pushing more toward aggressive trail riding....drops, jumps, and basically just going faster where ever you can.

Banshee RUNE on Australian Mountainbike Magazine |

:: Click Images To Enlarge ::
The Banshee Rune got a 2 page review in the Dec|Jan 09 issue of the AMB magazine.
Here are some of the characteristics loved by the testers:
"On the trail, the Rune loves to descend fast, flowing singletrack.."
"The Rune was surprisingly adept at serious downhilling, taking 10+foot gaps and drops with no complaints at the rear end.."
"Compared with a lot of frames on the market today, it felt rather long in the cockpit, which gave it a confidence inspiring and more stable feel at high speed than even some of the best off-the-shelf downhill rigs available"
"The rear triangle is made from ribbed tubing that is designed to maximise the frame's rigidity without sacrificing weight. This is really noticeable on the trail as the back end stays straight as an arrow."
